Nutmeg Kettlecorn started in 2014 with just a kettle pot, a tent, some supplies, and a dream. Inspired by my mother, Ruth Ford's love for popcorn (she'd eat a bag every night!), we set up and broke down our tent and tables every weekend at the North Haven Flea Market after selling our fresh, hand-stirred kettlecorn.

After many bags of kettlecorn and happy customers later, we decided to open our first brick and mortar store in Wallingford, CT, in 2019. Although the COVID-19 pandemic delayed its opening, it allowed us to expand our business even more by allowing our customers to order our kettlecorn online and ship it to their own homes or share it with family and friends throughout the country. Now that things are opening back up, we are excited to welcome old and new customers into our store for a bag of their favorite kettlecorn flavor and some of our other tasty treats!

Although my mom may no longer physically be here, we know that she is shining down on us and the business we created in her honor. We thank each person who has been a part of our story and has allowed Nutmeg Kettlecorn to be a part of their special moments.
